In 2023, Cowley Manor turned a new page and entered the next chapter of its life. The Grade II listed property is home to 31 bedrooms complemented by a spa, restaurant, cocktail lounge, library, mudroom and plentiful living rooms.
Cowley Manor Experimental is the perfect place to create new memories, we look forward to seeing you soon.
Rooms
Designer Dorothée Meilichzon has taken inspiration from each chapter of Cowley Manor’s book, weaving together classical inspiration with contemporary elements across each of the estate’s 31 bedrooms. A sort of joyeux bordel, a happy mess. Baldaquin beds at the heart of each grand bedroom are complemented by blurred maple and Verdigris. Touches of rattan, mixed with bold colours and glossy lacquer. And of course, a nod to Lewis Carroll’s iconic Alice and her merry band of misfits: a small hidden door here, a touch of checkerboard there.

Restaurant and Bar
The new restaurant & cocktail bar at Cowley Manor Experimental is a place to celebrate a milestone, or simply enjoy a meal to remember.
Celebrated British chef Jackson Boxer has crafted a menu that reflects the local area, with a nod to French cuisine.
Local produce will be at the forefront, highlighting some of Gloucestershire’s finest offerings. A place to return to again and again, for dinner, lunch and cocktails in between. A place where time is frozen, much like the fate of Carroll’s White Rabbit, where there is simply no time to do anything else but sit back, relax and enjoy.

The joy of time well spent. An afternoon of self-care, a few laps in one of the pools. Our spa features relaxing massages, facials and more, and our wellness programme well get the heart rate up, whether in the gym, indoor or outdoor pool.

Memories to last a lifetime, spread across 55 acres of idyllic countryside. A postcard landscape of rolling hills, sheep dotted in the distance. Swans gracefully floating through a lake, languidly floating around lily pads. A place to celebrate a wedding, toast a big birthday or escape for team building.
Cowley Manor can host smaller celebrations or can be hired privately for larger festivities.
