Rooms & Suites
Designer Dorothée Meilichzon has taken inspiration from each chapter of Cowley Manor’s book, weaving together classical elements with contemporary touches across the estate’s 36 bedrooms, making it a standout among Cotswolds places to stay. Cowley Manor epitomises a sort of joyeux bordel, a happy mess. Baldaquin beds at the heart of each grand bedroom are complemented by blurred maple and Verdigris. Touches of rattan, mixed with bold colours and glossy lacquer, add a unique charm. And of course, a nod to Lewis Carroll’s iconic Alice and her merry band of misfits: a small hidden door here, a touch of checkerboard there.

OUR Restaurant
Celebrated British chef Jackson Boxer has crafted a menu that reflects the local area, with a nod to French cuisine. Local produce will be at the forefront, highlighting some of Gloucestershire’s finest offerings. A place to return to again and again, for dinner, lunch and cocktails in between. A place where time is frozen, much like the fate of Carroll’s White Rabbit, where there is simply no time to do anything else but sit back, relax and enjoy.1

Nestled in the Cotswolds, our bar offers signature apéritifs, fine wines, and spirits—perfect for pre-dinner drinks, spontaneous gatherings, or starting a night of adventure. Enjoy DJ sets every Friday and Saturday, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the bar where evet sip tells a story.

An Experimental Discovery
Our destinations
A journey that started in Paris, in the summer of 2007. A bar on a quiet street, the start of Paris’ cocktail renaissance. As the years went on, new chapters turned, from new cities, to restaurants and finally hotels. Today, Experimental can be found across Paris, London, New York, Venice, Verbier, Val d’Isere, Ibiza, Menorca and out in the British countryside. Each location inspired by the world around it.
